Meet Jasmine
Jasmine grew up gardening with her great-grandmother in Memphis where plants, herbs, and yard work were woven into everyday life, before she even understood how rare and valuable that was.
She went on to earn a B.S. in Exercise Science and then returned to earn an A.A. in Business Management. She even built a career spanning acting, filmmaking, and social media strategy. As a UGC creator and social media strategist with years of hands on platform experience, she is the creative and strategic force behind Misfits and Matcha - from content architecture to brand partnerships to audience growth.

Meet Kevin
Kevin is the former professional percussionist. He was the drummer for The Zoo Human Project and a music educator who walked away from a music career to become an environmental scientist. If that pivot doesn't already tell you everything about him, his four degrees will.
He holds a B.S. in Music Performance, a Master's in Music Performance, a B.S. in Wildfire Science and Urban Interface, and a Master's in Environmental Science. Before becoming one half of Misfits and Matcha, he worked with the National Parks Service, Bureau of Land Management, and the US Department of Agriculture.
He's a lifelong outdoors lover who believes everyone deserves access to nature whether that's a hike in the mountains or a pothos in the window. Now he uses a career's worth of scientific expertise to break down plant and environmental science in a way people can actually use.
